Közi ( May 29 1972 of ) is a Japanese singer and guitarist . His career began in the late 80's in 2 bands, and Girl Beyond the Reinsight . In 1991 he joined Matenrou (also known as Mantenrow) with future member Malice Mizer, Mana and released two demo tapes. Mana and Matenrou Közi left after deciding that both had similar ideas about music. MALICE MIZER formed in 1992. After Malice Mizer disbanded in 2001, Közi joined Haruhiko Ash and created Eve of Destiny, a band currently Gotham has toured at various festivals in Europe.
In 2002, Közi collaborated with Japanese author Minako for the book 音響 絵巻 十 六 夜 の 月 ( Izayoi no Tsuki), for which Közi the eerie soundtrack. He sang at a special event in Japan which suggested that Közi pursuing his solo career. The first release was the double album Közi KHAOS / KINEMA , which included the memorable "Promenade." The song was re-released several months later on his debut album カタルシス ( Katarushisu ). The simple Közi MEMENTO was dedicated to the memory of Kami drummer MALICE MIZER.
During his time in Malice Mizer, Közi in a row had the role of a mime dressed as a clown, always in shades of red. In music videos and on-stage movements reminiscent of a marionette . Közi has continued and expanded its Visual kei style, but now their costumes are more gothic and gloomy. His work on the project Izayoi no Tsuki resembled a carnival, and his artwork for his other projects were often more dramatic, theatrical style. Közi has never revealed his real name or date of birth, details of his private life are scarce. Because of its visual and lyrical content of their work, it is generally assumed interest in sadomasochism interviews thing never denied or rejected, on the contrary just laughed shyly.
